Who we are

DISTANT RETURN is the film production company of director, writer, and producer David Henri.

Henri’s award-winning debut feature, Finding Focus, was a bold and unconventional micro-budget film that earned recognition at several independent festivals in the U.S.

His second feature, Under the Influence, is currently in post-production and targeting a festival run in Autumn/Winter 2025.

Up next: The Beautiful Nightmare of Love and Heartache, now in prep and scheduled to film in Spring 2025 in Berlin.
